Children’s spiritual formation is just as important as adult spiritual formation at FUMC. Children find a spiritual home and a place in the FUMC community. Teams of dedicated volunteer teachers use age-appropriate, Bible-based materials to help children develop their Christian faith.
In addition to Bible lessons each Sunday, these students focus on all aspects of worship in the United Methodist Church. They are encouraged to participate in the ministries of the church with their prayers, their presence, their gifts and their service.
Journeyland is for children currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We meet at 10:00 on Sunday mornings.

Did you know there is a children's ministry Wednesday afternoons? We are learning how we, as young people, can bring the life of the church out into our community and use Bible teachings in our everyday lives. We begin at 3:30 and end at 5:00. A churchwide dinner is served after we are finished with our lessons, so why not give Mom the night off from kitchen duty?
